Kingstond has officially announced its KC2500 NVMe PCIe SSD for the Malaysian market. The NVMe PCIe SSD is the brand’s latest ultra-fast storage solution and comes in a variety of storage capacities.

Specs-wise, the KC2500 is just a PCIe Gen3 SSD but does sport an x4 controller and uses a 96-layer 3D TLC NAND. In regards to speed, the KC2500 has sequential read speeds of 3500MB/s, while its sequential write speed starts from 1200MB/s and tops out at 2900MB/s. As for storage capacities, there are four options: 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

Like all Kingston products, the KC2500 also supports self-encryption and uses AES-XTS 256-bit hardware-based encryption for end-to-end data protection. Allowing software vendors to make full use of the feature with TCG Opal 2.0 security management solutions.

The Kingston KC2500 should already be available at all authorised resellers and PC shops. Price-wise, the SSD starts from RM285 for 250GB, RM484 for 500GB, RM849 for 1TB, and RM1737 for the 2TB.
