Maybank, Shopee and Visa have announced the new MayBank Shopee Credit card. Regular shoppers on the e-commerce platform will likely be interested in getting this card. This is because it essentially allows you to earn Shopee Coins whenever you use the card. This benefit applies to both online and offline purchases.
With the Maybank Shopee Credit Card, you’ll also be gaining more coins than you normally would when you use it to pay on certain days of the month. Specifically, on the 28th of every month, using the card gets its users five times more Shopee Coins when it is used for purchases on Shopee. When you use the card for dining, entertainment or contactless payment, you’ll still be able to get four times more Coins than usual. All other transactions will net you the usual amount of Coins.
In addition to these benefits, Shopee is also offering additional incentives for people who sign up. The e-commerce platform is giving cardholders 5000 Shopee Coins when they spend over RM300 within 60 days of signing up. More immediately, those who sign up before 7 July are also entitled to Shopee Vouchers worth RM500 for spending over RM300 in 45 days.
The Maybank Shopee Credit Card is available to Malaysians aged between 21 and 65, with an annual income of RM36000 or more. You can apply for the card starting tomorrow, 1 July 2020.
