After Gardenia West Malaysia, another well-known bread brand, Massimo has come forward to explain why it is hard for consumers to find its product in stores at this moment. The brand belongs to The Italian Baker (TIB) Sdn Bhd which is a subsidiary of FFM Berhad.
According to Massimo Bread’s official Facebook page, TIB has apparently maxed out its production capability. In the same post, the company also noted that it is operating according to the Movement Control Order (MCO) guideline provided by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) although it is not clear if that means TIB is operating with less staff than usual.
Prior to this statement, TIB has already stated that the company would continue to produce and distribute Massimo products as usual throughout the MCO period. Well, we suppose that there is somehow a sudden spike of interest in bread at the moment.
