Xiaomi yesterday has officially revealed that the Redmi Note 8 series is making its way to Malaysia. The confirmation comes in the form of a teaser on Xiaomi Malaysia’s Facebook page that mentioned the series by its name.

As you can see, the company has also made a clear reference to the Redmi Note 8 Pro in the teaser as only the Pro model offers 64MP quad camera setup within the Redmi 8 series. It will not be alone though as SIRIM database observer, Kevin Ng TK has spotted other Redmi 8 series devices inside the listing earlier this month.
The list includes Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8A, and the unannounced Redmi 8:

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also sent an invite to members of the media which stated that the Redmi 8 series launch in Malaysia will take place on 8 October.
