E3 2019 is just around the corner, and like all video game exhibitions, there’s a high level of expectation for video game developers, publishers, and console brands. However, it seems that Google can’t wait that long, and has announced that it will be hosting its own Stadia Connect event on in just a couple of days. Less than a week before E3 2019 kicks off.
The announcement was made the search engine’s official Twitter account, Stadia (@GoogleStadia). The tweet itself isn’t loaded with alot of information, but it does say that there will be “exciting announcements, games, and more”. Followed by a link to the official Stadia live stream channel on YouTube.

Back during GDC 2019 that took place in March this year, Google pulled curtains back from Stadia, its cloud-based gaming platform. Google says that Stadia will be able to stream gaming content at both 60 fps and 4K resolution with HDR. Oh, and there’s also support for surround sound. As impressive as it sounds, it kind of goes without saying that you’ll need a really fast internet connection in order to even achieve such a resolution.
The main appeal of Stadia, however, lies in its ability to stream games directly to any Chrome browser, Android device, or Chromecast-supported televisions.

The Stadia Connect live stream will be kicking off on 6 June 2019 at 9AM PDT, which 7 June at 12AM for us in Malaysia. We’ll definitely be looking forward to seeing what other games and services the platform will be offering, considering the only title it demonstrated during its launch was Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
