Avengers: Endgame is arguably the most anticipated film of the past two decades, next to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Everyone at Marvel Studios have done everything in their power to not reveal any details regarding the plot of the movie to preserve the experience for fans who have been salivating for the film since the end credits of Infinity War rolled last year, so much so that even cast members have no idea how the film is going to play out. Recently, Brie Larson mentioned that she had “no idea what she was shooting” as she only received her screenplay on the day of the shoot itself and even then “it was completely black redacted” with only her lines visible.
Despite the efforts, leaked footage from Endgame have started to circulate online, much to the annoyance of directors Joe and Anthony Russo and fans. The footage is approximately five minutes long and reveals a pivotal battle sequence. The Russo brothers have urged people who have seen the leaked clip and those who are going to watch the movie earlier than your friends to not spoil anything.
The directing duo took to Twitter to share a letter similar to the one they wrote ahead of Avengers: Infinity War last year.

“When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you. Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.” – The Russo Brothers
We concur with Joe and Anthony Russo. While we can’t stop people from checking out the leaked clip, we respectfully request that you do not spread it, nor trick your friends into watching it. A lot of us have been avoiding any sorta information that may even hint at how the story will play out, patiently waiting to catch the film in cinemas when it graces the big screen in a week’s time.
Avengers: Endgame is set to hit Malaysian cinemas on 24 April 2019.
