AMD has officially announced the availability of its Athlon 220GE and Athlon 240GE CPUs. The two processor will join the Athlon 200GE, which was announced back in September, alongside the PRO variant of the same CPU.
Both the 220GE and 240GE are designed to be used with AMD’s current AM4 platform. The processors are also based on the semiconductor maker’s highly efficient Zen microarchitecture, and also feature Radeon Vega integrated graphics.
Specs-wise, all three processors feature a 2-cores, 4-threads die layout and come with three Radeon Vega Graphics Compute units. Other specs of the processors are as listed below:
- AMD Athlon 200GE – Base Clock: 3.2GHz, TDP: 35W
- AMD Athlon 220GE – Base Clock: 3.4GHz, TDP: 35W
- AMD Athlon 240GE – Base Clock: 3.5GHz, TDP: 35W
The AMD Athlon 200GE is already available at all authorised AMD resellers, and will retail for RM235. Both the Athlon 220GE and 240GE will only be arriving in Malaysia sometime during the first quarter of 2019. At the time of writing, no local pricing has been provided.
