Earlier this month, Nike and Sony have officially revealed their latest collaborative product in the form of Nike PG 2.5 x PlayStation basketball shoes. While the global release date for it is 1 December, the shoes will be made available for Malaysia at a slightly later date instead.
Specifically, fans and hypebeasts alike are able to order the shoes in Malaysia soon. As far as our knowledge goes, the Nike PG 2.5 x PlayStation will only be made available in our market through Nike Malaysia’s online store starting from 9AM onwards on 5 December.
Draped in the same Original Colorway as per first generation PlayStation console, the shoes which are the signature model of Oklahoma Thunder’s small forward Paul George is the result of his love for gaming and the console. Other PlayStation elements that appear on the shoes include symbols from PlayStation controller on the back areas and midfoot strap as well as a PlayStation logo on the left shoe which can light up.
Meanwhile, the pricing for Nike PG 2.5 x PlayStation has yet to appear on Nike Malaysia’s online store. However, we don’t expect it to be far off from the price for the standard version of the shoes which are listed at RM 455.
