BenQ has just recently held an event showcasing several of its 4K HDR monitors that are now available in Malaysia. Ultra high definition is not their only attraction though as these monitors also come with BenQ Eye-care technologies.

As you might able to guess from its name, BenQ Eye-care technologies aim to deliver a better viewing experience by adopting several features that might able to reduce eye fatigue and increased eye comfort. Among such features are flicker free panel, low blue light modes, and automated brightness adjuster.

Available in two models, they come in the form of the 28-inch EL2870U and 32-inch EW3270U which  28-inch and 32-inch respectively. Barring the obvious size differences, the two monitors have a lot in common including having the same 4K resolution, refresh rate of 60Hz, and HDR support.

Both monitors also come standard with two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. These display output aside, the EW3270U has an additional USB Type-C port while there is also a D-sub VGA port on EL2870U.

The larger panel also features a higher contrast ratio of 3000:1, at the cost of a slightly lower response time of 4ms GTG. On the flip side, the smaller one has a lower 1000:1 contrast ratio but a higher response rate of 1ms GTG.

Both monitors are already available via BenQ’s official store on Lazada. The EL2870U comes in at RM1689, while the EW3280U has a price tag of RM2449. That said, BenQ says that new stock will be subject to 5% SST, once the current batch runs out.
