Alongside the announcement of the performance-oriented 8th Gen Intel Core processors for laptop, plenty of OEMs have begin to reveal products that are featuring such processors including MSI. Out of the new models that the Taiwanese company have revealed earlier, we are able to confirm that the G65 Stealth Thin will be released in Malaysia soon.
For our market, the GS65 Stealth Thin will be made available in two different variants. That being said, the only major difference between them is their graphics as the GS65 Stealth 8RF-Thin comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 while the GS65 Stealth 8RE-Thin is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 instead.
Another component that separate them apart is their wireless network adapter as the GTX 1070-based model is equipped with Killer Wireless-AC 1550i adapter and the model with GTX 1060 graphics comes with Intel Wireless-AC 9560 adapter.
Other than that, both models offer similar specifications including 15.6-inch full HD 144Hz display, Intel Core i7-8750H processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe solid state drive, and 4-cell 5280mAh battery. Not to forget, the SteelSeries RGB keyboard as well.
Price-wise, the GS65 Stealth Thin with GTX 1070 will go for RM 10699 while the model with GTX 1060 can be obtained for RM 9699. Both variants will be made available in Malaysia starting from 16 April onwards.
