As stated in our report earlier today, Samsung Malaysia will begin to take pre-orders for its brand-new flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ from 1 March onwards. Interestingly though, we have noticed that a retailer might have begun taking the pre-order starting from today instead.
Over at Lazada Malaysia, we noticed three listings by a merchant called Mobile Gadgets which apparently based in Perak. Each of these listings correspond to the colors of Samsung Galaxy S9 which include Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple.
At the same time, we have noticed that the same merchant has published similar listing on Shopee as well. In terms of pricing and delivery date, they do adhere to the official information that we received from Samsung Malaysia earlier today as they are priced at RM 3299 and will be shipped to customers starting from 16 March onwards.
Customers that pre-order through the listings above will also receive free Harman Kardon Onyx Mini, just like what Samsung have told us. As interesting as all these listings sounded like, we do advise you to proceed with caution and get all the necessary information that you need from the merchant before moving forward with the pre-order with the store.
