U Mobile Sends Out Cheeky Valentine’s Day Greetings To Celcom, Digi, and Maxis

As compared to certain markets like United States, the majority of brands in Malaysia don’t really take a jab at each other openly. But from time to time, someone would be brave enough to do it anyway and among the recent example is U Mobile which published Valentine’s Day greetings dedicated for its three major competitors.

In fact, the telco is not hiding the names of the intended recipient of each message. It is clearly stated on them, as shown below:

We have no idea if the telco actually prints these out and snail mail them to its respective competitor. They should do that anyway because it would make things even more hilarious.

This is not the first time that U Mobile has trolled its fellow competitors. Back in 2016, the company came out with a set of videos called Telcolympics which depicts all four telcos in a sports competition. It then repeat the same theme in 2017 through Sukan Telco videos.

Meanwhile, Celcom, Digi, and Maxis have not published any reaction to the Valentine Day’s message from U Mobile at the moment. We doubt that they would but who knows, maybe they eventually decide to have a little bit of fun with U Mobile’s cheeky greetings later on.
