Meizu has announced that the larger of its two 2017 flagship smartphones – the Meizu Pro 7 Plus – is receiving a price cut. This comes shortly after we reported that the smaller Meizu 7 Pro had seen its price slashed by RM400.
The Pro 7 Plus sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Powering it is an impressive Helio X30 processor; drawing electricity from the 3500mAh battery.
Meizu had only released the Pro 7 Plus in Malaysia back in September; making the latest rounds of price reductions rather surprising. That said, few are going to argue about getting these specifications for a more reasonable RM2399; some RM400 less than the original retail price.
According to the press statement, the price reduction has come as a result of positive feedback from Malaysian customers, and is meant to “repay the love from their customers”. In any case, the new should be welcome during this holiday shopping period.
