The release of 8th Gen Intel Core laptops under HP in Malaysia begin with HP Envy 13 last week and as you might have expected, that’s not only the new HP laptop that carries the equally new family of processors. We have recently noticed that they are also available with HP Pavilion 14 which is now available from HP Malaysia’s official website.
Even though Pavilion 14 generally has a 13-inch chassis, HP manages to squeeze a 14-inch full HD IPS display into the laptop. It also features a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 4GB GDDR5 graphics as standard.
Additionally, it also carries 3-cell 41Whr Li-ion battery that provides it with battery life of up to 10 hours. In terms of processors options, consumers are able to obtain the laptop with either Intel Core i5-8250U or Intel Core i7-8550U chip.
In terms of pricing, the new HP Pavilion 14 with 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of DDR4 RAM is listed at RM 3,199. As for the Core i7 variant, it depends on the amount of RAM as the 4GB model goes for RM 3,899 while 8GB would costs just slightly more at RM 3,999.
