It might be the last product from Acer Malaysia’s recent launch event to be rolled out into the market but seems that there might be a good reason for the late release. As it turns out, the newly refreshed Acer Swift 3 for our market actually comes with the equally new 8th generation Intel Core processor.
This was confirmed by the company in a press announcement just moments ago. While we are still waiting for the Acer Malaysia to come back with spec sheet, we were informed that the new Swift 3 laptop is equipped with 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor.
Available immediately at Acer’s retailers throughout Malaysia, customers will be able to obtain the new laptop with up to 256GB solid state drive and 8GB DDR4 RAM. Acer also claimed that Swift 3 is able to deliver battery life of up to 10 hours which is similar to Intel’s claim for its new 8th gen Intel Core U-series processor.
In terms of pricing, it will be similar to what Acer Malaysia has announced before which is between RM 3,399 and RM 3,899. We’ll update this post with full product specification once we received the spec sheet from Acer Malaysia.
