Digi has just announced a new postpaid plan, designed for the family. Called the Digi Postpaid Family Plan, it allows customers to easily manage supplementary lines as well as a large data allocation to share between family members.

There are two price points for this plan: Digi Postpaid Family 150 and Digi Postpaid Family 250, priced at RM150 and RM250 a month respectively. The two plans are designed towards different-sized families, while still offering the same benefits, including unlimited calls to all networks.

Let’s talk about the Digi Postpaid Family 150 first. It offers 60GB of data quota, which is broken into 30GB of all-day internet and another 30GB of weekend data. This plan allows for up to two “family lines”, which combined, gives each user a very generous 20GB (10GB all-day + 10GB weekend) data allocation per month. Taking into consideration the monthly commitment, that’s RM50 a month per line for 20GB of data.

Calls are unlimited to all networks, while free SMS is capped at 300 for each lines. Subsequent SMS are charged at 10 sen per SMS, while it cost 20 sen per MMS.

On the other hand, the Digi Postpaid Family 250 allows for up to four additional family lines, which shares a huge 120GB (60GB all-day + 60GB weekend) data allocation – that’s 25GB (12.5GB all-day + 12.5GB weekend) of data per line, also for just RM50 a month.

Both the Digi Postpaid Family 150 and 250 plans also offer free 100GB of cloud storage on Capture, as well as 60 days free access on iflix. More importantly, both all-day and weekend data allocations work on both 3G and 4G networks.

On top of that, the principal line will also receive free Roam Like Home package, which consists of 5GB of data and 60 minutes of calls that can be used for free in eight Asian countries. Family lines can also get their own Roam Like Home packages for RM30 per month, per family line.

The principle line can also manage the data allocation of all family lines via the MyDigi app. This app also lets the principle line oversee and manage the entire account.

Besides that, Digi also has good news should all lines run out of data: topping up data is more affordable than ever. Choose from RM15 for an additional 5GB, or RM25 for 10GB, which can easily be purchased via the MyDigi app.

Finally, Digi is also offering 5% discount off the total bill for the next six months for those who enable automatic billing with a credit card. Depending on the plan, that means a minimum savings of RM35 or RM75 for the two plans.

Those who are interested to sign up can only do so at any Digi Store nationwide. Online sign-ups are not available for this plan. Do also note that the Digi Postpaid Family plans are a limited-time offer and may end without notice, just like the previous Digi Postpaid Infinity plans.
