In conjunction with the upcoming festive season, Huawei just announced price cuts on the Huawei Mate 9 series as well as the Huawei P9. On top of that, the Chinese company also revealed that the Huawei P10 Plus is available in Pantone colours now, much like the smaller Huawei P10.
Among the three devices that received price cuts, the Huawei P9 got the most substantial discount. Originally retailing at RM2,099, the P9 now goes for RM1,799; that’s RM300 less. The Mate 9, on the other hand, can be purchased for RM2,499 instead of RM2,699 now.
As for the sleek Mate 9 Pro, it now carries a RM3,299 price tag; RM100 less than its original retail price. Oddly enough, Huawei did not clarify if these price cuts are permanent.
Aside from these price cuts, the P10 Plus is now available in Pantone colours as well: Greenery and Dazzling Blue. Much like the other colours of the device, these two new colours of the P10 Plus also retail at RM3,099.
It’s great to see Huawei giving the Mate 9 series and P9 smartphone price revisions in Malaysia. After all, it’s been quite some time since these devices were released on our shores.
