As soon as they were revealed to the world, the AMD Radeon RX 500 graphics cards have begun to pop up at retails stores in Malaysia. Among manufacturers that have released such cards in Malaysia is ASUS who is currently offering four of its RX 500 cards in our market.
Not surprisingly, on top of the list is the ROG Strix RX 580 Gaming OC Edition that also carries 8GB of GDD5 VRAM. In terms of clock speed, the card is already tuned to go faster than AMD’s reference specifications right from the factory.
Specifically, it goes up to 1360MHz in gaming mode and even further in OC mode at 1380 MHz. Being a ROG Strix release, it also features the series signature tri-fan thermal solution with sizeable heat sink that help dissipate all the heat produces by the card in addition to the Aura Sync RGB light arrays.
In addition to the ROG Strix 580 Gaming OC 8GB, ASUS has also released ROG Strix RX 570 Gaming OC 4GB, Expedition RX 570 OC 4GB, and Radeon RX 550 4GB in Malaysia. Consumers are able to get their hands on these cards immediately from their favorite retailers for RM 1699, RM 1149, RM 1099, and RM 599 respectively.
