Apart from its unlimited plan, another trait that Webe really well-known is its data tethering policy that is really different from other telcos. Today, the young telco has made an addition to the policy with the introduction of another tethering pass.

Prior to today’s announcement, the only way that Webe customers are able to share their data is via Webe’s Personal WiFi pass which provides 2 hours of unlimited data sharing for RM 6. Now, customers can also choose to use another tethering pass called MobileWiFi.

Under the new pass, users are allocated 500MB of data instead of a time limit. The pass has a validity of 30 days costs RM 8 and in addition to that, any unused data can be brought forward for the subsequent 60 days.

The telco’s tethering pass can be purchased through the Self Care section of Webe’s official website or directly through Webe Self Care app. To celebrate the occasion, all existing and new Webe customers will receive free 1GB of monthly tethering data for the next three months.
