Logitech keyboards with Cherry MX switches aren’t exactly easy to find, so it’s great to see that the company has brought in the G610 Orion Blue to Malaysia. Equipped with Cherry MX Blue switches, this keyboard joins the G610 Orion Brown, which offers MX Brown switches instead.
In comparison to the Orion Brown, the G610 Orion Blue is essentially…the same keyboard, only with MX Blue switches instead of Brown. The G610 is a full-size mechanical keyboard with white backlighting, “fingerprint-masking matte texture,” as well as a braided cable. It also features a rather minimalist design and dedicated media keys.
As is always the case with Cherry MX switches, the MX Blue keys of the Orion Blue are rated for up to 50 million keystrokes. Unlike the Orion Brown, this keyboard should provide a more pleasant typing experience with its very clicky and tactile switches; while the Orion Brown’s MX Brown switches are also tactile, they don’t have any audible clicking.
The Logitech G610 Orion Blue is now available in Malaysia for a suggested retail price of RM479. That being said, we notice that many online retailers are listing the Orion Blue at a much lower price, so it’s worth looking around to get the best possible deal.
