ESL is back in South East Asia with yet another prestigious Dota 2 tournament: the Manila Masters. This time, ESL is collaborating with Mineski Events Team (M.E.T) to organise this tournament and has put up a USD $250,000 prize pool (approximately RM1.1 million).
The Manila Masters will be held from the 26th to 28th of May 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines – the exact same venue where the Manila Major was held. Similar to the Manila Major, a Secret Shop will be setup to sell exclusive Dota 2 Valve merchandise.
A total of eight teams will be competing at the Manila Masters; although no details on qualifiers have been released as of yet. However, Evil Geniuses are confirmed to be the first team to receive a direct invite to the tournament.
