The new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar has arrived in Malaysia. Although the new MacBooks were available for order locally right after they were announced in late October, it’s not until now the Touch Bar models are readily available to Malaysian consumers.
Machines, one of the premium Apple resellers in Malaysia, has posted on its Facebook page that the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar are now available on the company’s online site. Unfortunately, the post did not mention if the new MacBook is also displayed in its retail outlets.
Currently, only the 512GB model of the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is available on Machines’ online store; all other variants of the Pro – even the 15-inch models – are out of stock. It’s worth noting that Apple’s Malaysian online store currently only have the base 13-inch MacBook Pro in stock; the Touch Bar models will only ship out to consumers in the next two to three weeks.
If you’re keen to get your hands on the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar – and you can’t wait for Apple Malaysia’s shipping time – you can do so on Machines’ online store. Hopefully, other models of the new MacBook Pro laptops will be restocked in the near future.
