Celcom will be increasing the Internet allocation for a select few of its First Postpaid plans. In addition, Celcom has also introduced a new feature called AnydayGB, which essentially allows users to combine their weekday and weekend data quota to be used anytime.

The increase in data quota for Celcom First Gold and First Platinum will go from 10GB (5GB + 5GB) and 18GB (9GB + 9GB) to a now 20GB (10GB + 10GB) and 60GB (30GB + 30GB) respectively. Existing users should take note that this new allocation will take effect on the 1st of November at no additional charge.

There’s also a new First plan introduced by Celcom – First Gold Plus. At RM98 a month, users will be getting 40GB of mobile data (20GB + 20GB) along with unlimited calls. SMS charges will be rated at 20sen/SMS.

Celcom’s First Postpaid plan has always had its total mobile data quota separated into a combination of weekday and weekend data. However, with the company’s new AnydayGB feature, Celcom is allowing users to combine their weekday and weekend data to be used anytime for a fee of RM10/month.

The AnydayGB feature can be added on to the First Gold, First Gold Plus, and First Platinum plans. Subscribers only need to dial *118# on your phone or send an SMS “ANYDAYGB” to 28882 to activate the feature. Celcom customers should take note that AnydayGB will continue to automatically charge them each month unless it is cancelled.

Celcom’s FIRST Gold, First Gold Plus, and First Platinum plans are also eligible for free unlimited messaging apps including WhatsApp and WeChat. Other than that, these plans also come with free unlimited music streaming with Yonder Music.

The newly revamped Celcom First Postpaid plans will be available for sign up starting on 28 October 2016. These are also a limited time offer, as the promotion will end on the 31st of December 2016. Also, customers should take note that these plans will no longer have Celcom’s Carry Forward Internet feature.
