A couple of months ago, we reported – and confirmed not long after – that the Xiaomi Mi Max will be arriving in Malaysia; the Redmi 3S was also said to be launching on our shores in the near future. Well, those who have been eager to get their hands on the Mi Max will be happy to know that Xiaomi Malaysia may be launching the device as soon as this week.
On its Facebook page, Xiaomi Malaysia posted a particularly interesting teaser. While it’s merely an image of a large…pizza, the message is there: the company is teasing something big. More likely than not, this is foreshadowing the launch of Xiaomi’s biggest smartphone yet, the Mi Max.
The caption for the image, on the other hand, is a pretty clear indication of the Mi Max’s launch date right down to the actual time. It doesn’t take too much thought to decipher the message either: it’s likely the Mi Max will be available for purchase on the 1st of September at 12PM.
Whether or not Xiaomi Malaysia is actually launching the Mi Max on the 1st of September still remains to be seen. Hopefully, the Redmi 3S will be launched at the same time as well; we’ll find out soon enough this coming Thursday.
