Samsung will be announcing the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on 2 August 2016 and it looks like we wouldn’t have to wait too long for it to come to Malaysia. Maxis has just opened up its registration of interest page for something “galactic”,
While the telco did not specify what they mean by “something epic is coming to Maxis”, the teaser image shows the number 7, likely referring to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. If you’re interested, you can register it on Maxis’ website – all you need is to key in your name and email address, and the telco will keep you in the loop.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is scheduled to be launched on 2 August 2016. The Korean company has already sent out its invitation to its Unpacked 2016 event, and will be live streaming it at 11:00am EDT in New York, and simultaneously in Rio de Janeiro at noon and London at 4:00pm; that’s 11pm on the same day for us.
Don’t be confused by the name, Samsung confirms that they are skipping Galaxy Note 6 and naming the next generation Galaxy Note smartphone Note 7 instead, to unify their product portfolio, and to minimise the confusion about the latest mobile technology from the company.
