At one point in life, everyone has to decide which credit card or travel insurance plan suits them best; needless to say, it can be difficult to choose the right option. That’s where GoBear comes in: it compares the “bear” essentials of a travel insurance plan or credit card to suit each individual’s needs, and it is now available in Malaysia.
GoBear refers to itself as a “metasearch comparison site” that provides unbiased information. This is possible because GoBear “specialises as an information platform and not as a seller or representative of products,” the company said. Currently, GoBear has more than 1,000 products in its database, and it plans to add more in the coming months.
For now, GoBear only provides comparison of credit cards and travel insurance plans in Malaysia. In the future, the company will add car insurance and personal loan comparisons as well, which will make the service that much more useful. According to GoBear, these two new categories will be added in the third quarter of 2016.
