The new additions to Gigabyte’s Xtreme Gaming series was first announced last month. It includes the GTX 970, GTX 980, GTX 980 WindForce and GTX 980 WaterForce. Gigabyte’s Xtreme Gaming series was first announced in September this year. Now, Gigabyte has officially announced the pricing as well as the availability of the new Xtreme Gaming graphics cards for Malaysian customers.
The most affordable option in the new Xtreme Gaming series is the Gigabyte GTX 970 Xtreme Gaming. According to Gigabyte, the GTX 970 Xtreme Gaming will be priced at RM1,929, which costs a bit more than what was initially estimated. This is probably due to the fluctuating rate of our currency. One tier up is the GTX 980 Xtreme Gaming, which costs RM 2,715.
Other than that, the Xtreme Gaming series of graphics card offers two modified versions of the GTX 980 Ti. The first being the Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti Windforce edition. Gigabyte mentioned that the WindForce edition will be sold for a price of RM3,509. Meanwhile, Gigabyte’s other version of the GTX 980 Ti, the WaterForce variant will be priced at RM3,649. It’s interesting to see that the price difference between the GTX 980 WindForce and WaterForce is only around RM140.
Gigabyte further mentioned that the new additions to its Xtreme Gaming series will be made available in Malaysia by the end of December this year. Just in time for the holiday season.
