An image has been circulating online indicating that the Nexus 6P will be sold at a special 25% discount on Lazada’s final Online Revolution Sales day. Unfortunately, this information is not true.
The image originally came from a local tech site, showing that the Huawei Nexus 6P will be sold at 25% off. That translates to a promotional, one-day-only price of RM2,023.50, which we must say is really generous for a device that’s just been launched in Malaysia last week.

However, after a quick check with the folks at Lazada, we can confirm that the promotion is indeed to good to be true. We’ve been told that the widely-circulated image contained an error by the graphics design department; no prizes for guessing where the error was.
The correct offer on Lazada for the Huawei Nexus 6P is RM2,698 and it comes with a free Google Chromecast (while stocks last). The accurate promotional image is the one shown below:
For now, the price of the Nexus 6P will remain at RM2,698 on Lazada, and there will only be 100 units of the Google Chromecast to be given away for free daily with the purchase of the Nexus 6P. Meanwhile, Lazada’s Online Revolution Sale ends tomorrow.
