Google Maps has updated with a new feature for Malaysian drivers. The app will now include lane guidance in its navigation function, which will increase its accuracy in directing the user. Lane guidance is essentially a more detailed view of which exit to take, and is incredibly useful when driving in places like KL.
Lane guidance is not exactly a new feature, and has been available in other countries for a while now. It is completely integrated with the turn-by-turn navigation option, and does not need to be separately activated. Lane guidance also works with voice-guided navigation.
The app should have updated itself with the new feature by now, and if you are not seeing it you should check the Google Play store for an updated version. Lane guidance for Google Maps is available for Android and iOS.
