Porn company, Pornhub is making a wearable that is able to charge tech devices. How? By shaking it. It was only a matter of time before someone thought of creating the Wankband. A device that stores kinetic energy from masturbation and then using that energy to power or recharge tech devices. Genius or Preposterous?
The Wankband is able to create power by moving it in an up and down motion familiar to most, if not all men in today’s society. How the device works is that it has a built-in kinetic charger that harvests electricity generated from kinetic movements. This technology is not new as it is being used in watches as well, but Wankband is totally changing how the technology is applied. Next, the electricity generated then gets stored in a battery for the user’s charging needs. However, looking at the size of the band, it might not be able to create or even store enough power to charge any device to full capacity. Although, with patience and persistence, it should provide sufficient charge to last the device until a proper charger is obtained.

The company made a Safe For Work (SFW) video that illustrates why it was created and how the Wankband works. It is even calling the energy created as Dirty Energy. All of this feels like it is a troll idea but if the Wankband is the real deal, it might be something revolutionary in solving small energy crisis, even if it’s through exotic methods. The unusual marketing guarantees attention for the band; although to be fair, it would probably work better if worn while doing other activities like exercising.
