We all know that the Xiaomi Mi Pad will be coming to Malaysia, but how much will it cost? Xiaomi is currently having a little contest on its Facebook page that asks you to guess the price and share a story with them to win a Mi Pad but wait, it looks like the price has already been listed on Xiaomi Malaysia’s website.
If you visit mi.com/my/mipad, you will see that the product has already been listed with a retail price of RM799. The “Buy Now” button is available too though unfortunately, if you click that, you will be redirected to an error page.
Of course, this is not confirmed. The page is not available directly on mi.com/my and can only be accessed if you key in the URL manually. This means that it is not finalised and Xiaomi might make changes to the price at a later date.
Still, RM799 sounds like a great price for the 7.9” Full HD tablet from Xiaomi. It is powered by a 2.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192 supercomputer-class GPU cores. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Other specs include 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 6700mAh battery.
Sadly though, if the web page is final, Xiaomi Malaysia will only bring in the white version of its Mi Pad, which is available in a collection of attractive colours in China. Want to win one? So it’s confirmed. Xiaomi Malaysia just posted on its Facebook page confirming the price of the Mi Pad. The device will go on sale on 10 February at 12pm so if you wish to get one of your own, do set your alarm for the date! Alternatively, visit Mi Malaysia to find out how you can win a free Mi Pad.
