Apart from Lumia 930, Stephen Elop of Nokia has also revealed another two new devices at the Microsoft Build Developer Conference opening keynote few hours ago. They are the Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 635, which will become the first Windows Phone 8.1 device to be released into the market starting this May.
In terms of design, both Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 are essentially the same. Same goes for majority of their components which includes 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, 4.5-inch IPS ClearBlack display that is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1830 mAh battery, and 5-megapixel autofocus camera.
In addition to that, both models are the first Lumia devices that are equipped with the newly announced SensorCore sensing capability which provides real-time monitoring and data storing for fitness-oriented as well as exploration apps.
However, the Lumia 630 only supports up to HSPA+ 21Mbps connectivity and will be released in two variants: single SIM and dual-SIM. As for Lumia 635, it is built with LTE support.
Expected to be available starting from May onwards, Nokia Lumia 630 will be heading to Asia first before any other markets. The single SIM model will carry a price tag of USD 159 (RM 520) while the dual SIM variant will cost USD 169 (RM 553).
