Want a high-end Android device for less than RM500 (1,000 Yuan)? Why here you go, the Neo N003 from none other than China. Packing a large 5.3” 720p display at the front, the Neo N003 is powered by a MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor with a 13MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, and a huge 3,000mAh battery on board.
The device is not official of course, this is only a leak but it sure does look good, especially with a price that is similar to low-end devices we have here in Malaysia like a Samsung Galaxy Y or Sony Xperia Tipo. Also we can’t be sure if things are really as good as it sounds in text, the usability and actual functionality of the hardware is the most important but for a sub-RM500 price, what more can you expect, right?
No further specs have been leaked, it should run on at least Android 4.0 ICS and above and is expected to be announced in March before hitting the shelves a month or two after that.
