Lenovo is betting big on multi-mode devices as the standout feature of the PC+ era. Today, Lenovo Malaysia showcased a total of nineteen devices at its Limitless Possibilities event, with almost every one of them a new product. The company’s hero products from IFA 2013 also made their debut here, such as the sexy Yoga 2 Pro and ThinkPad Yoga Ultrabooks. In addition, the new Yoga Tablet is also now available in Malaysia.

Check out the new Yoga devices and more after the jump.

Lenovo Flex 14/Flex 15

Lenovo’s PC+ strategy clearly involves devices that can be used in various modes. The company has now been using the “Multimode” term for some time now, and the company now has two product lineups in that category: the Yoga, and the more mainstream Flex. Announced back in September at IFA 2013, the new Flex 14 and Flex 15 laptops feature displays which can be pushed into Stand mode, one of the four modes that the Yoga Ultrabooks offer.

In terms of specs, the Flex 14 and 15 are essentially affordable Windows 8 touch-enabled laptops: 4GB RAM, 500GB hard disk with 8GB mSATA SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GT720M GPU, three USB ports (1x USB 3.0) and 1366 x 768 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays. The main difference between the two is in the processor: the Flex 14 is powered by an Intel Core i5-4200U 1.6GHz processor, while the Flex 15 packs an Intel Core i7-4500U 1.8GHz processor. All Flex laptops comes with two years limited international warranty.

In addition, there is also the new Flex 20 all-in-one (AIO). To be available from the end of December, the Flex 20 sports up to Intel Core i5-4200U processors, 8GB of RAM, 500GB hybrid or traditional storage, integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 , a 20.5-inch 1600 x 900 10-point multi-touch display, two USB 3.0 ports, and of course, two usage modes: Stand and Table.

And then, there are the new Yoga Ultrabooks, the Yoga 2 Pro and the ThinkPad Yoga. The Yoga 2 Pro is powered by an Intel Core i7-4500U 1.8GHz processor with 8GB of RAM, integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 and a 256GB SSD. Things only get better when it comes to the display: a 13.3-inch multi-touch display with a jaw-dropping resolution of 3200 x 1800. There are also two USB ports (1x USB 3.0), while making the Yoga 2 Pro thinner and lighter than its predecessor overall (it now weighs 1.39kg and 15.5mm at its thickest point). The Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook will come with 2 years limited international warranty.

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga

As for the ThinkPad Yoga, the first multimode ThinkPad is powered by an Intel Core i7-4500U 1.8GHz processor with 4 or 8GB of RAM (a slower Core i5-4200U is optional), integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400, 1TB hard disk with 16GB mSATA SSD, 12.5-inch Full HD multi-touch display, two USB 3.0 ports, and an optional integrated digitizer stylus.

One unique feature only found in the ThinkPad Yoga is the new Lift ‘n’ Lock feature, a mechanism that locks the keyboard and raises the area between the keyboard keys to flatten the entire keyboard island when the user flips the ThinkPad Yoga into Tablet Mode. As with all ThinkPads, the ThinkPad Yoga comes with 3 years of on-site warranty.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 & 10

Finally, there’s the new Yoga Tablet and its intriguing form factor, allowing it to be used in three modes, Tilt, Hold and Stand. To be available in two screen sizes (8 and 10.1 inches with a 1280 x 800 resolution), both tablets are powered by a Mediatek MTK 8389 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage and supports up to 64GB microSD cards, and runs on Android 4.2 with a customized skin. In addition, both tablets sport 5MP rear cameras and 1.6MP front-facing sensors. The only real difference between the two (besides the screen sizes) is in the battery capacity, where the Yoga Tablet 8 packs in a two-cell 6000mAh battery, while the larger Yoga Tablet 10 sports a three-cell 9000mAh battery. The Yoga Tablet 8 also suppports 3G connectivity and voice calls.
