One of the hottest, most sought after products (surprisingly to some of the editorial team, yours truly included) from Google this year has got to be the Google Chromecast. When it was announced, it flew off the virtual shelves in the US and bulk order threads sprang up across the forum.
Luckily for us at Lowyat.NET, we managed to secure a unit for ourselves minutes before they were declared sold out and it just arrived today! So with any new device that makes its way to the HQ, we decided to do a video for you!
So here we have an unboxing of the retail packaging of the Google Chromecast, we recorded our first looks at the device as well as set it up for the first time in our network. On top of that we also test it out with various devices to see just how good the Chromecast is.
