It appears cross-platform BBM is edging ever closer to reality. It was announced earlier in July that BlackBerry Messenger will be making its way to Android and iOS as early as next month, and the latest word coming from BlackBerry is that the new cross-platform BBM app is now seeding to select Android and iOS developers.
The beta app is distributed to developers by invitation from BlackBerry, and requires Android 4.0 and iOS 6 and above. The registration invitation for the BlackBerry Beta Zone program also confirms the worldwide release of the app later this summer, which is somewhere in September this year.
