Remember the HTC J Butterfly? The 5-inch, Full HD display was one of the highlights of HTC’s entry to the phablet arena, but unfortunately the J Butterfly was a Japan exclusive. However, it was reported that HTC were actively looking to market the device in other countries.
Well, those in the US can get their hands on what will most likely be the first smartphone with a Full HD screen pretty soon. A leaked press shot has revealed that the J Butterfly will be a Verizon exclusive in the US, and will be known as the Droid DNA. Even better, it will also share the same powerful internal hardware as the J Butterfly.
So far, no launch dates have been revealed, but Verizon and HTC did send out invites for a press event for the 13th, which is very likely to be the date that the Droid DNA will be announced.
