If there’s one criteria on how to serve beer, it would be to serve them chilled without any ice to dilute it. Understanding that requirement, here’s a fridge from LG that promises to chill your lukewarm beer in just minutes, you won’t even need ice anymore! Now, imagine you have a huge party of guests over at your house, the fridge is running out of beer and the fresh batch from the store are going to take like an hour to cool down, your guests aren’t going to like it.
The new fridge, currently being showcased in CES (with some beer inside I hope), comes with a special “Blast-Chiller” compartment that circulates cold air using an air jet. What makes this special compartment even more special apart from its ability to serve you your drink at the best temperature, is how it can prevent ice crystals from forming and taking up precious space.
