Earlier this month, Google improved its search option in Gmail to also search in text attachments found in emails. Now, they’re further fine-tuning the search bar in Gmail to pull results from related Calendar and Drive entries.
Similar to the earlier attachment search, Calendar and Drive entries will appear as autocomplete results in the drop down search box. Although currently still in trial, any Google user can participate in it via this link.
