I’m sure most, if not every one of you, were in awe when HTC took the curtains off its latest flagship device – the HTC One. The smartphone features a lot of cool new things like a brand new user interface that brings many exciting features such as Blink Feed and HTC Zoe, and if you’ve been wondering if HTC will be bringing them to your existing HTC phone, it looks like the answer is yes.
At the introduction of the new Sense 5 during the launch of the HTC One, the company didn’t have anything to say about whether it will be bringing the new update to its existing device. Fortunately not too long ago, HTC decided to open up. According to a Facebook post, HTC says that the global variants of the HTC One X, One X+, One S as well as the Butterfly will be getting an update to the new interface “in the next few months”. The company did not announce which specific features will be upgradable, HTC only mentioned that those “enabled by the new HTC One hardware will not be available in the software updates”. Well, at least your new HTC Butterfly won’t feel so outdated.
