A frequent user of Facebook Messenger app for your iOS or Android device but do not have a data access to allow you to do so on-the-go? It looks like soon, DiGi subscribers will be able to receive special discounts (if not entirely free) on data usage for Messenger for Android, Messenger for iOS and Facebook for Every Phone users.
The social networking website just announced that it will be working with more than 18 operators in 14 countries to offer special pricing for Facebook messaging including DiGi in Malaysia. No further details have been revealed regarding this offer and when it will officially be available. Given the recent updates Facebook have been releasing for its Messenger app, it would come in handy especially if you’re those who send pictures and voices messages frequently.
DiGi already offers free access to Facebook for free via DiGiLIVE Zero but this new partnership allows users to utilize a full-feature Messenger app for a discounted price, and you will not have to download a specific browser to enjoy the service.
Press release available after the break.
