iPhone 5 Malaysian Price Out In Open Thanks To Maxis, Starts From RM 2199

If you are more an iPhone person rather than iPad, then we believe you are already aware that the new iPhone 5 will be out in Malaysia next week. Here is the RRP price of the device, as revealed via Maxis‘ official website:
RM 2199 (16GB), RM 2499 (32GB) and RM 2799 (64GB).
How about contractual pricing, you asked? Depending on the plan, you might actually able to get the device for…free. Well, more on that as we will take a look into Maxis pricing in detail shortly.

Wahh.. Really? So cheap.. I found some shop that sell iPhone 5 up to RM3299 here in Malacca..
It is normal for parallel importers to hike up the price before the device is released officially in Malaysia. My advice: try to stick to official units, even though it might come slightly later – for benefits such as local warranty.
