CelcomDigi has introduced Protect+ with AppleCare Services, a multi-device protection plan for selected Apple devices. The plan allows customers to cover a single device or bundle up to three additional eligible devices under one monthly subscription.
The new plans start from RM50 per month when paired with the purchase of selected new iPhone models through CelcomDigi’s Easy360 device instalment programme. It is also available separately through the telco’s website, online stores and retail outlets nationwide.
According to CelcomDigi, Protect+ with AppleCare Services provides coverage for accidental damage such as drops and spills, as well as access to 24/7 priority support from Apple experts and Apple-certified repairs. It also covers battery replacement when an eligible device’s battery capacity drops below the required threshold.
For iPhones, the plan additionally includes protection against theft and loss, with a like-for-like replacement provided if the device is no longer in the customer’s possession. Customers can also swap eligible devices under the plan when needed.
To recap, AppleCare Services has been available in Malaysia for several years, offering protection against accidental damage for eligible Apple products alongside access to Apple technical support and certified repairs. The coverage can be purchased for supported devices separately, while CelcomDigi’s new offering combines it with multi-device protection and additional theft and loss coverage for iPhones.
