In case you’ve been living under a rock, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is available for purchase. The phone can be yours for as low as RM2,499, thanks to ongoing promotions.
The promotion, which began on 4 September and will continue till 30 September, will allow consumers to purchase the phone while saving up to RM600, should they purchase the phone via SPayLater. This offer also includes 0% instalment fees for up to 12 months, plus rebates of up to RM600 with selected banks, plus an RM100 Samsung Fans exclusive rebate.
The offer is applicable to all SKUs of the Galaxy S26 FE: the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models. Before the promotion, the phones retail for RM2,899, RM3,299, and RM4,099, respectively. To be clear, the promotion offers up to RM600 in discounts if you purchase the phone via SPayLater, and is not a flat RM600 lop-off.
Recapping on the rest of the specs quickly, the Galaxy S26 FE is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 SoC and 8GB RAM. It’s widely accepted that the phone is basically a near-identical copy of its predecessor, the S25 FE, and even features the same 6.7-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits peak brightness. It even reuses the same 4,900mAh battery capacity.
The main triple-camera module is, yet again, similar to last year’s model: it uses the same 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Around the front, the selfie shooter uses an identical sensor at 12MP.
Software-wise, the phone gets most of the Samsung-specific features, including Horizontal Lock and the FanCam function, the latter primarily for those who wish to touch up their pictures or video before posting them on social media.
