Last month, we saw the Samsung Galaxy A08 and A07s making an appearance in SIRIM as well as the Google Play Console. Now, the latter device has gotten a launch in the Levant region, with an official spec sheet to overwrite some of the leaks that came before. According to GSMArena, the phone was launched quietly in said market, without any major announcement from the South Korean tech giant.
At any rate, we now see that the Samsung Galaxy A07s comes with a 6.7-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Inside, there’s a MediaTek G99 Plus chipset, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot for those who need more storage space. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery, but no charging rates were shared.
For its cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A07s comes with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. In front, it has an 8MP selfie snapper. The company does say that it will get six years of OS and security updates, but it doesn’t specifically mention which version of Android it runs. Per the report, it’s One UI based on Android 16. Other items in the spec sheet include Bluetooth 5.3, an IP54 rating, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A07s serves as a sort of in-between for both the A07 and the older A06, rather than a sidegrade or indeed upgrade to the A07 itself. But despite its listing on the company’s Levant website, it doesn’t actually come with a price. Instead, it directs visitors to a list of physical stores. That being said, Gadgets 360 claims that the device is priced at JOD119 (~RM679), and that there is a 4GB + 128GB config that costs JOD149 (~RM850) as well.
