The eagle-eyed writers at Android Authority claim to have discovered what they allege to be Samsung’s next generation Galaxy Buds 4 Pro wireless earbuds. As to where they found it, it was apparently hidden within the animation of the leaked One UI 8.5.
Mention of the Buds 4 Pro have been popping up at regular intervals at this stage, several of which suggest that the earbuds will launch alongside Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Series next year. The leaked animations more or less confirm its look.

For a start, it appears that Samsung is ditching the sharp, edge-cut aesthetic it used with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, in favour of a more…rounded design. It still retains a stem on each earbud but again, it looks less likely to poke you when you stick it into your face.
For another matter, the animation suggests that the charging cradle of the Buds 4 Pro is reverting to a simpler, more accessible square design, which is probably the smarter move of the aesthetic redesign – the Buds 3 Pro drew inspiration so heavily from its fruit rival, its own CEO came bearing down on its engineers – considering the hullabaloo generated by its current flagship earbuds.

Gone too are the built-in light bars that were installed in the spine of each stem, in favour of a flatter design. Additionally, the earbuds now lie flat, rather than sliding into a deep crevice that we found to be annoyingly difficult to pick out of.
As interesting as the leak is, none of it tells us whether the Buds 4 Pro will sound better or worse than its predecessor. The Buds 3 Pro didn’t feel up to par, and had an artificial brightness to it, along with an unnatural clarity.
