Insta360 has announced a new range of accessories for its recently launched Ace Pro 2 action camera, expanding its capabilities for both video and photography. The lineup includes three attachable lenses, a redesigned grip with built-in controls and extra battery life, and a compact wireless printer that produces instant laminated photo prints.
The highlight of the release is the Insta360 Pocket Printer, a compact device roughly the size of other portable photo printers from Fujifilm and Canon. Unlike those, however, it uses dye-sublimation technology instead of Zink or Instax paper. The printer connects wirelessly to the Ace Pro 2 via Bluetooth and outputs 3-inch, 300dpi prints that are laminated during printing for waterproof and fade-resistant durability. Each print, however, includes a fixed Ace Pro 2 watermark along its border, which cannot be disabled.

While the Pocket Printer works independently, it can also attach directly to the new Xplorer Grip Pro through a quick-release mount to mimic the look and function of an old-school Polaroid camera. The upgraded grip connects to the Ace Pro 2 via USB-C and introduces a traditional shutter button and zoom lever layout, replacing the previous model’s top-mounted lever design.

The Xplorer Grip Pro also adds a secondary 2,010mAh battery, extending continuous 4K/60fps recording to as long as 2.5 hours. A new top-mounted dial controls exposure by default, though users can remap it via the camera’s settings.

Insta360 also unveiled three new lenses for the action camera: cinematic, ultrawide, and close-up. Complementing the hardware are new Leica colour profiles and digital filters, which will roll out through an upcoming firmware update.

The accessories are initially offered through four bundle options, with no plans to be sold as standalones. While already sold for certain markets, Insta360 has yet to confirm their availability for the Malaysian market.

The entry-level Xplorer Pro Bundle retails for US$518.99 (~RM2,143), including the Ace Pro 2, batteries, and the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit. The US$579.99 (~RM2,395) Flash Print Bundle adds the Pocket Printer, a flip-screen hood, and a leather carrying case. For videographers, the US$604.99 (~RM2,499) Videography Bundle Limited Edition includes the cinematic lens, while the top-tier US$739.99 (~RM3,055) Ultimate Videography Bundle packs in all three lenses for a complete setup.
