Back in September, Apple launched the Crossbody Strap for its iPhone lineup, allowing users to wear the device like a sling bag of sorts. Now, the company has taken the idea further with the iPhone Pocket, a new special edition accessory made in collaboration with designer Issey Miyake.
Literally inspired by “a piece of cloth”, the iPhone Pocket is a 3D-knitted construction with a ribbed mesh structure. The accessory has the qualities of the original pleats patented by Issey Miyake, with a design meant to fully enclose its contents.
According to Apple, this quirky accessory can not only fit any iPhone, but also other small items like AirPods. Basically, it’s a stretchy pouch that can be worn directly on the body like the aforementioned Crossbody Strap. The company also suggests other ways to accessorise, such as carrying it like a handbag or tying it to bags.
The iPhone Pocket comes in two variants: one with a short strap, and one with a long strap. The latter is available in three colours, which are sapphire, cinnamon, and black. Meanwhile, the short strap version offers more variety, with five bright colours in addition to the three already listed shades. These include lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, and peacock.

As mentioned earlier, the iPhone Pocket is a special edition release. Currently, availability is limited to select regions, namely specific locations in France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
Customers in these countries can purchase the accessory starting from 14 November 2025. The short strap design is priced at US$149.95 (~RM618), while the long strap design retails for US$229.95 (~RM948). For now, it is unclear whether Apple will be launching the iPhone Pocket here.
