Samsung Malaysia officially released its new pair of sound towers, the ST50F and the ST40F. Both speakers feature app-controlled dynamic lighting, multiple modes, and a portable, IPX4 splashproof design.
According to the press release, both speakers deliver deep bass with “refined” acoustics that can be heard indoors or outdoors. Users can further adjust their listening experience through the Samsung Sound Tower App.
The app also allows users to further customise their listening experience with features “such as DJ Booth, Karaoke Mode, and real-time sound effects.” All of these modes operate seamlessly with the tower’s Party Lights+, which sync to your music. Speaking of syncing, you can also link up with other Sound Towers through Group Play via Auracast and Stereo Play with TWS.
Moving on to the internal specs, starting with the ST50F: this speaker is equipped with 6.5-inch dual woofers and 25mm dual dome tweeters, delivering a total output of 240W. The company did not disclose the speaker’s battery capacity, only that it can last up to 18 hours on a single charge.
The ST40F, on the other hand, features 5.25-inch dual woofers and an arrangement of 20mm dual dome tweeters, capable of outputting 160W of power. Similar to its counterpart, the tech giant did not specify the speaker’s battery capacity, only stating that it offers up to 12 hours of playtime.
Both the ST50F and ST40F Sound Towers are available in Malaysia now for RM2,599 and RM1,699, respectively. Those interested in purchasing the speaker can do so through the official Samsung website.
However, it’s worth mentioning that the tech giant is running a promo from 3 to 30 November. During this period, the company will offer the ST50F and ST40F at discounted prices, dropping them to RM2,399 and RM1,499, respectively. Additionally, the company will give customers who purchase the devices during this period a Shure SV200 Dynamic Vocal Microphone (SV200-Q): one for the ST40F and two for the ST50F.
