OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 15 in China. The device serves as the brand’s latest flagship smartphone, succeeding the OnePlus 13. Compared to the previous generation, the OnePlus 15 features some notable changes, namely in terms of design and camera.
Starting with the display, OnePlus has equipped the phone with a 6.78-inch FHD+ BOE X3 AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The brand has also ditched the quad-curved screen seen in last year’s model, opting for a flat design for the current generation. The bezels have also been slimmed down to 1.15mm all around. Additionally, the phone comes with an IP69K rating.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a maximum of 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Beyond that, the device features a 7,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. For software, the phone runs Android 16 via ColorOS 16. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 6.0, WiFi 7, and NFC.
As mentioned earlier, the brand has changed the camera system. OnePlus has ended its partnership with Hasselblad, so the phone uses OPPO’s Lumo Imaging System. As for the cameras themselves, the OnePlus 15 features a 50MP main shooter, coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the front is equipped with a 32MP selfie snapper.

Alongside the OnePlus 15, the brand unveiled the OnePlus Ace 6, which will likely debut internationally as the OnePlus 15R. In terms of specifications, the Ace 6 features a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate.
For internals, it comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Like the OnePlus 15, it gets up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 7,800mAh battery with 120W wired charging.

On the imaging side, it sports a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the phone comes with a 16MP front shooter.
Currently, both phones are available in the brand’s home market. The OnePlus 15 has a starting price of CNY3,999 (~RM2,364) for the 12GB+256GB configuration. Colour options include black, purple, and the previously teased beige Sand Dune.
As for the Ace 6, it comes in black, silver, and white. Pricing for the phone starts at CNY2,599 (~RM1,537) for the 12GB+256GB model.
At the moment, OnePlus has yet to disclose details on a global launch. However, previous rumours suggest that it could happen sometime in November.
